About Jack
Jack Backes is Principal Strategist at Provident Data Centers, leading sales, land acquisition and partnerships. Before joining Provident he worked in software engineering management at LinkedIn, building data center infrastructure management for its hyperscale footprint. He has held roles across development, finance and marketing at Provident Realty, founded the app and web firm DXZ Media, and led Dallas initiatives including Civic Innovation and RealTech. A Dallas Business Journal 40 Under 40 honoree, he holds a bachelor's degree from the University of Pennsylvania and is studying Datacenter Systems Engineering at Southern Methodist University.
